ACT50 Award for Cranes

In July of 2006 American Crane & Transport Magazine named Lampson International the number one heavy lift company with the largest capacity mobile crane in the United States. The largest crane in our fleet is the LTL-2600 Transi-Lift ® and is widely know for its work on complex projects at many refineries and power plants through out the United States.

In the same year, American Crane & Transport Magazine also named Lampson International one of the top ten largest crawler crane fleet owners in the United States, coming in at 336 crawlers. The Lampson International crawler cranes are most commonly recognized for their work on various heavy lift jobs through out the United States.


 


ACT50 Transport Award for Trailers

In September 2006, American Crane & Transport Magazine awarded Lampson International with the ACT 50 Transport award for trailers and ranked them as the 11 th largest transport company in the nation. This ranking is based on the 312 modular/hydraulic trailers, 32 specialized multi-axle trailers, and 60 trucks and tractors that our company owns. Together, these figures comprise the 404 pieces of transport equipment in the Lampson fleet with a combined capacity of 10,425 tons.

In 2005, Lampson International was named as one of the top five largest crane companies in the world by International Cranes Magazine. By 2006, Lampson increased their fleet size to include 77 mobile cranes and 336 crawler cranes. With a combined capacity of 1,053,720 tonnes, this made Lampson the number one ranked large capacity mobile and crawler crane company in the world.

 

 

 

 



Sale of Lampson LTL-2600 to China

In September 2007, Lampson International sold an LTL-2600 to the China Nuclear Energy
Industry Corporation. This is the first Transi Lift ® to be sold to China and it will be used
for the construction of a power plant in that country. Lampson is ramping up for the manufacture
of the crane components at their facilities in Pasco and Kennewick Washington and
manufacturing will take approximately a year to complete

 

 



Lampson International Purchases New Manitowoc Cranes

Lampson recently purchased several new cranes from the Manitowoc Crane Group. Adding to
their fleet, Lampson bought one 2250, two 999’s, two 16000’s and four 14000’s. These cranes
will be used for upcoming projects at power plants, refineries, and wind farms through out the
United States.
