Project Overview

Lampson International recently completed a crane rental project for a confidential customer located in the Pacific Northwest. The scope involved providing a bare rental Manitowoc 18000 outfitted with 160 feet of boom, a load block, and a ball, designed for high-capacity lifting on congested construction sites.

The crane was used to set large wall and structural panels weighing between 220,000 and 240,000 pounds at a new distribution center. The project began in the fall of 2021 and continued over the course of two months, requiring precise lift planning and reliable equipment performance to safely maintain schedule and production demands.

With the Manitowoc 18000’s heavy lifting capacity and Lampson’s engineered solutions, the crew was able to safely and efficiently install the panels while meeting the customer’s project timeline.
